The owner of an Olathe real estate finance company pleaded guilty Tuesday to a $1.5 million wire fraud scheme.
JonPaul JP Edward Sauer, 41, was the owner of Peak Management and former CEO of Flatirons Financial Inc., both of which made loans to rehab distressed properties, mostly in Kansas City. He admitted defrauding his lender, Wells Fargo Foothill Inc.
