The Golf Club of Kansas LLC filed for bankruptcy April 26 in an effort to stave off foreclosure.
The course, built on an old limestone quarry next to the Kansas Sports Center at 18145 W. 87th Street Parkway in Lenexa, opened in 2007 with a unique membership system based on licenses that allowed for unlimited play.
