Lees Summit solar power engineering and construction company MC Power Cos. Inc. will build a solar power plant in Butler, Mo.
Construction of the more than $8 million power plant, called the Butler Solar Power Farm, is scheduled to begin on May 21. Loren Williamson, senior vice president of MC Power Cos., said the build is expected to be finished by the end of 2013.
